For as long as I can remember, my mother has had this small circa-1970's ceramic Christmas tree. It has colored bulbs that go into the holes in the branches and when it's plugged in, they light up.
When I was a little girl, I thought it was the most beautiful thing.
Frankly, I still do.
2012 goal- find a ceramic tree of my own...

My mother had the exact tree growing up. I was sad to hear that a few years ago, she got rid of it...I totally wanted it!
Oh I LOVE those trees too! My grandma and great-grandma had one. After my great grandma passed away, we all got to go through her stuff and have what we wanted. I wanted that tree so bad, but when I found it, most of the bulbs were missing so I left it at my grandma's house. If I can find a way to get new bulbs, I will be taking it. I thought that tree was magical when I was little!
I love nostalgic things like that. We had a small glass Christmas tree that was on a turntable and played 'O Christmas Tree.' I wish it was still around. It reminds me so much of my childhood.
