hello? anyone there?

Hello! It seems I haven't blogged properly in months. Should I get back into it? I miss it sometimes, I admit! 

A few updates, for now.

Amelia is 14 months old! There are many days when I can't believe what an amazing little person she's become, and how blessed I am to be her mother. We spend a lot of time reading books and taking trips to the library. She has this crazy cheese face she does that cracks me up every time.  

She has ten teeth!

She's crazy close to walking! She took a few steps last week, but hasn't since, though I expect she will again very soon.

She became a big cousin! My sister had a baby girl, Scarlet, on March 7, and we met her last weekend when home for Easter. Safe to say, we were both smitten.

I have turkey meatballs in the oven now. I'm loving making her food, and now that she eats most of what Steve and I eat, it's perfect! 

I'm also still nursing her several times a day. Our goal was a year, and why stop there?! We also donated our freezer stash to the National Milk Bank for preemies in NICUs, which was wonderful. 

She talks and babbles up a storm! 

Uh oh...I hear her in the monitor...nap is over and time for lunch!
