flash those fingers!

Lately, I've been really into painting my nails. Along with that, I've bought some new nail polish here and there. Of course, I wanted to find a fun way to store all of the polishes, so where did I turn to?

Pinterest, natch.

I saw this, and just loved it. A hurricane jar! Perfect!

I went to Michaels and found one that I loved. It was $24.99, but I had a half off coupon, which was even better. As you can see, it is about half full, so there is plenty of room for more polish purchases in the future  ;)

Also, please note our turquoise walls! We painted the bedroom, and I love it. LOVE it!

This photo above, and the last one, are a bit dark. Sorry about that. The one below shows the color the best! So, so fun.

That photo above, in the frame? My siblings and I, circa 1988 or so. I was wearing what my family called my "Pilgrim dress," which I adored. It was brown courdoroy with a white lace bib front, and a sash around the waist. I LOVED it.

They're on my dresser, which is so convenient, as I can grab a polish on my way out the door, as I usually paint my nails downstairs at the kitchen table, for some reason. It seems  I almost always have polish on my nails these days. Though, when I take it off, I usually wait a day before painting them again. It seems like a good idea to let them breath for a bit before painting them again!

Do you like to paint your nails? How do you store your polish?

Also, thanks to those of you who let me know about the malware that had somehow found its way onto my blog...I had several links to a crafty website that had been affected, leading the bad messages to mine. I've removed all of the links to that site, and my blog seems to be back under control again. I hope this didn't cause any trouble on your blogs!

No more malware warnings for me, yay! :)

Cute way to store polishes! I just keep mine in an empty glossybox at the moment :)

Will we be seeing some NOTD posts from you then?

I had a dress just like that, except mine was red corduroy!

I love that idea and your turquoise walls!

I am boring and keep mine in a cosmetic bag in the bathroom cupboard. But I'm excited because I just bought two new Sally Hansen Insta Dry polishes for $4 each!
