i hate doing christmas gifts for a significant other. this is the first year M and i have decided to do them and it's only because we were joking about it and decided to do a fun one. $30 limit. has to be As Seen On TV items. i can't imagine if i had to buy him a real gift. too much pressure.
boys are hard to shop for i swear. but i think i may go the watch route this year? you could try that? or something sports related? boys are weird, haha.
it's cool. i occasionally get gifter's block with my bf. i usually just shop around with him in mind, walk into a store, pick up something that he might like, debate whether or not he would like it, debate whether or not i would like to give it to him, and then have a sudden epiphany of the perfect gift, which is not the item i'm holding, nor is in the store i'm in.
i know lots of people who don't do gifts with their partner which is perfectly fine too. but i LOVE to give presents so not giving them just wouldn't do it for me. you've got 20 days til xmas. that's plenty of time!
I grew up in New England and now I live in Washington, DC where I work for the federal government. I've lived abroad in Luxembourg, Poland and Canada, and would like to live abroad again. I love to travel and fill my passport with stamps. I read a lot and want to build libraries where they don't have any. I have a lot of cookbooks and love using them. I have an adorable godson named Jackson. I also sponsor two little girls through World Vision; six-year old Majlinda in Albania and two-year old Boikokobetso in South Africa. I love cupcakes, poppies, chocolate chip pancakes, peonies, strawberries and deviled eggs. I collect tea towels, teapots, Boleslawiec Polish pottery, vintage sewing supplies, Peter Rabbit books/pieces and Russian babushka nesting dolls. My two favorite childrens books of all time are Miss Rumphius and The Velveteen Rabbit and I would like to write my own books someday. I'm learning to quilt and have become a bit obsessed with buying fabric! I also love red shoes and wear them frequently. Steve, my boyfriend, keeps me sane most days, except for the ones when he's the one making me crazy! All in all, life is good and keeps me on my toes.

NO! Gifts are hard...how about tickets to something you could go to together?
Not at all. I never know what to get for any occasion (with the exception of this Christmas).
I don't know what to get Richie either if that makes you feel better. Or anyone for that matter
