so crafty, thats me!

Look what I've made! Wine cork trivets and coasters! Steve and I drink a lot of wine, so I thought I'd make good use of the corks. I will admit that we didn't drink all of this wine...I purchased some corks from ebay! I bought a bag of 500 corks for only $15 shipped! So, I've been making trivets and coasters! They are adorable, and super fun to make!

Anyone want one? I have a lot more corks and I can only use so many trivets :)

how cute! I have been saving the corks of the wine Alson and I drink. Someday I will be crafty too!

Those are too awesome, what a great idea! I've been saving all of my corks for my grandmother...she uses them for her own craft projects. I think she was a little shocked when I handed her the bag of them...meaning I'd had a whole lot of wine. I'll have to tell her about the bag of 500!

could you make a legal size corkboard? That would be kinda cool.

You send me 6 cork coasters and I promise to send you something back.

Cute!! Dave's mom's boyfriend keeps all the corks from the wine he drinks, so we got him the bulletin board kit for Christmas.

I love that there's modge-podge in the background of this photo. That reminds me so much of my grandma, you have no idea : )

You're a crafty genius, lex!

omg! i've been saving my corks for this very reason!!! only $15 for a bag of 500?? hmm...but it's so much more fun to say each one of those came from a bottle i drank...let's people know how much i'm willing to sacrifice in the name of being crafty ;)

ooo very cute! You should sell them on etsy.

Could you cut them in half so the side on the table is flat? that would be awesome.

I remember seeing that idea somewhere ... and then online somewhere for sale for a crazy amount. Bookmarked it awhile back to make but not drinking wine fast enough - love the idea!
