This week, I'm in Inveraray, Argyll, Scotland!
In October 2007, Steve and I went to the UK for a week. My sister was spending the semester in London, so we spent a few days there with her and then rented a car and drove north! We stopped in Derbyshire to visit some friends there as well, and then kept going north to Scotland! We spent a night in Glasgow and then drove to Inveraray, as we wanted to see the Inveraray Castle, which was all sorts of amazingness and gorgeousness (I'll post more pictures of the trip later, if you'd like).
In the town of Inveraray, there is a shop called Loch Fyne Whiskies, where we went into sample some of their finest malts! I am not a huge whiskey person, but Steve liked it enough to buy a few bottles! Also, I ordered some for him one Valentines Day too, as they ship overseas!
Here's me, at the shop :)
Where are you this Wednesday?

I love Scotland :) I also don't like whiskey but when i was in Pitlochry I went to a distillery and drank some there. I totally got out-drank (outdrunk?) by a bunch of 90 year olds though. Ick. Don't know how they can drink that stuff!
I'm in Norway on my blog :) I really need to keep up with this series better!
I've never actually been to Inverary. Shame on me!
I want to go to Scotland so much!!! Love the photo of you at the shop. Too cute!!! XOXO
Oh wow! That sounds like a fabulous trip. I've had friend's who have visited Scotland and the pictures they bring back are amazing. Beautiful countryside. Did you enjoy the malts? I don't believe I would be able to drink much. I'm sure Steve enjoyed his Valentine's Day gift (fantastic idea).
I like the picture of you in front of the shop. That looks like a fun place to visit.
I would love to visit Scotland! Someone else did that this week too!
I was in Inverary (albeit it briefly) in January.
Highlight of the visit - my 26 year old friend (sans his passport or driver's licence) trying to buy cigarettes and being ID'd by the only 2 shops there that sold any. No nicotine for him lol
We never went into the whisky shop though - sounds great! :) x
