reading anything good?

What are you reading right now? Need something new?

Go over to Britt's blog and sign up for her Book Exchange! I've signed up and I think it will be really fun. While there, check out some pics of her son Nicky- he's adorable!

I just finished reading "Beautiful Boy" by David Sheff. It is a father’s memoir of his son's methamphetamine addiction. It was excellent. Then I read "Tweak" by Nick Sheff. It is his son's account of the same time period. It was very interesting to read one after the other and hear both perspectives.

Hey! I love to find new DC blogs! Thanks for dropping by mine.

For reading? I don't get to read nearly as much as I used to - but try to make up for it with recorded books during my commute.

I just finished a really fun book calle Rococo by Adriana Trigiani. My mother is an interior decorator (and now owns a store in Key West) so I love stories that refer to all of the furniture and fabric lines that I remember from growing up. It's a very funny light read. But I think you kind of have to be familiar with the New Jersey Italian community (or at least be able to appreciate it) to really love this book.

Hard to make book recommendations to people you don't know... I'll put you in my reader - and next time I'll have a better feel for what you might like.

I am looking to read the new David Sedaris book. And a book called "Dishwasher" by Pete Jordan. It is the story of man who planned on washing dishes professionally in all 50 states.
