snack attack

Are you a snacker? I realize that I've become one as of late, when I am at work. This may be a new thing though...when I worked at the Congressman's office, I didn't snack. The two jobs following, I didn't snack. The last job and this one? Oh yes. I snack. Currently, in my desk drawer, there is a bag of Cadbury mini eggs. Love them.

This is not good for me, I am well aware. I do drink a lot of water, usually at least three liters a day, but I don't know if it balances out enough. So if I must continue to snack, what I should I go for? Are you a snacker and if so, what is your guilty pleasure?

I can eat a whole small bag of fritos and gatorade... but i normally only do that once a month.

I've found keeping protien heavy snacks help a lot. I keep a bucket of non-fat cottage cheese (you can throw fruit in it too) non-fat yogurt and almonds around my desk. Also Lindora Bars do wonders with a big glass of water.

Go for nuts, veggies, or fruit :)

Or 100 calorie snacks. But only eat one! So hard.

i usually keep sweet and salty snacks around (this time of year Robin's Eggs are my favorite!) but my fall back that i have around all the time is raw almonds. they're so good and what's best is that they're so good for you
i highly recommend them.
you can also salt or sweeten them if you like is so many fun ways.

I'm always snacking on things, it keeps me sane. I typically stick with fruit, dairy stuff (string cheese, chocolate pudding), nuts, and some type of crunchy snack (crackers, prtzels) because I'm addicted to crunch.

i try really hard not to snack but when i do (which is every other day...so much for trying hard not to), i stick to nuts and non-fat yogurt. if i'm craving candy, i'll eat a small sugar free jello cup--the ones they sell in packs of 6.

I've become such a serious snacker. One of my recent (and very! very! bad) habits has been to pick out a snack each week for my desk at trader joe's; the idea is that it will last all week. It's lucky if it sees Wednesday. I've tried to get the trail mixes; I often get the choco-raspberry things or other dangerous treats, though.

Snacking is actually better for you... eating throughout the day keeps your metabolism burning.

The only problem is, you have to eat things that aren't horrible for you... that's where I get into trouble ;-)

I snack a lot. But then I'm not hungry for a meal, so it's probably not a good habit for me.
